Role Description
Delivery
- Responsible for managing the overall delivery of SalesForce testing. Independently handle the execution of the testing pipeline and support the delivery of the organization's salesforce. Overall oownership of the day-to-day activities of the testing team(s).
- Prepare approach, plans, reports, defect management, release reports and other documentation on the status of the salesforce solution. Participate in peer-reviews of test case designs, requirement clarification, automation strategies and any other discussion around testing and quality.
- Ensure all integrations tests between applications. Analyze and resolve technical and application problems. Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
- Define and drive adherence to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
Quality
- Ensure that best practices for software testing and quality and SDLC are employed across all teams consistently, and maintain responsibility for the quality development of applications. Carry out reviews as per defined procedure and suggest remedial actions wherever necessary .Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing well practices and habits.
- Stakeholder management and relationship building - Ensure open communication and appropriate information sharing, and build credibility in order to work effectively with various groups with varied and sometimes conflicting priorities.
Business Analysis
- Oversee the analysis of the business requirements. Collect and document user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
- Communicating and Presenting - effectively communicate with stakeholders, securing approvals when needed, and keeping them abreast of progress and potential roadblocks, and present well-organized information (amount/relevance) to right people at the right time. Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience of
1. Solution and Integration Software Testing
2. Salesforce Applications
3. Test Automation tools i.e. Selenium and QTP
4. SDLC and Agile development methodologies
5. TFS knowledge
- Very good knowledge of salesforce solutions and software testing
- Overall understanding of Microsoft technologies
- Basic understanding of workflows
- Ability to 1. Adhere to the test practices/process, documentation and reporting standards set within the team
2. Ensure quality in all deliverables 3. Lead in translating the requirements into a effective testing
4. Analyze data and report data quality metrics General Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi task and liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build professional relationships
